GALLERY GOSSIP -  Oh the jewelry trunk show in Miami was a rousing success...many of the relatives had not seen my creations and were quite impressed and they bought too!!!!! Now I am back in Illinois recreating for Valentines day and leaving tomorrow for TUCSON...yes time to go see Roger and Annie Gato,,,,stayed at their fabulous Hacienda in the mountians, Time to eat drink be merry. and get creative.....and of course ..have another jewelry trunk show and of course ride on the Harley.   Had to detain my trip by one day due to the 19 inches of snow....but I will get there! Another show in Sioux Falls is in the workings for MARCH!!!

DRAGONFLY GALLERY is located in Historic   Conover Square, Oregon Illinois...A beautiful 4 story building along the picturesque Rock River.   I am starting small...a lovely space on the first floor will house my jewelry and also artists... I will keep you posted.. JUNE:   Right now I am in Canada for 9 days of fabulous fishing and lots of fun with great friends from South Dakota...Laurel and Doug Lather from Food and Fermentations...see more on the South Dakota Page. FIELDS PROJECT PHOTOS MAY...so much has happened I just returned from a FABULOUS trip to TUCSON...one of my favorite spots...check the link for info and photos of wonderful women and scenic sights!!!! The gallery is coming along...so very much to do...hopefully an opening mid to late JUNE> Kim Jordan had an emergency appendectomy...I am so grateful that I used my "motherly intuition" and took him to the Doctor last Saturday...he had surgery and his surgeon said it would have perforated by Sunday.... Thank you again....St. Jude Josh is a glacier guide for the summer in  Juneau and Brian has a new position! I will be going to see Josh this summer...we are planning on hiking and perhaps dog sledding!!!! Just returned from a great trip to Lake Okoboji to hook up with Doug and Laurel, condo on the water, antiquing, great food, wine and friends...just what everyone needs in the middle of a long winter. I am inspired and ready to go. I will be travelling to Seattle, Tucson, Canada and Alaska in the next three months...so the ol' kiln should be running continuously. The birds flock to the feeders outside my studio windows...(all glass) and they just make me smile! Since the Move to Illinois this summer..I have added my jewelry to the Rockford Art Museum Shop and will now be placing works at The Next Picture Show in Dixon. As you can see...my work tends toward the organic, Leaves...Sticks...Stones...and then there is the more CONTEMPORARY LOOK of the Abstract Pendants...which are created using a syringe...and fired 2-3 times for strength.  They are a great look...from jeans to evening wear!
